Coat of arms was accepted on April 13, 2009 by the decision of the region ‘s Council.
Green trees symbolize deciduous and coniferous forests - the main richness of the region.
Wheat ear symbolically reflects agricultural capacity of the region.
Wavy azure belt symbolizes the Luza river.
Silver colour is a symbol of purity, clarity, openness, divine wisdom, reconciliation.
Green color symbolizes spring, health, hope.
Red color is a symbol of courage, vital force and beauty, work.
