Sysola administrative region is located in the southern part of the Komi Republic . It borders with Syktyvdin, Koygorodok, Priluzye and Arkhangelsk regions.
The main riches of the region are forest and agricultural grounds. In the Sysola region there are 84 settlements.
Administrative center of the region is the village of Vizinga , located in 88 km from Syktyvkar on Big Vizinga river.
Cultural traditions of the Sysola region pass from fathers to sons. Traditional national holidays, festivals, exhibitions of arts and crafts are always accompanied by songs, national games and dancing .
