The Udorsky District is connected with the center of the republic by rail. There is regular train service from Syktyvkar to Mikun to Koslan. The highway to Koslan is not finished yet, and now can only be used in winter. Nevertheless, it is already available for biking tours. The district is also connected with the Archangelsk Region - the village Leshukonie - by an unpaved road, but there is no regular bus service. The only means of transportation Is hitch-hiking, including on motorboats.
